- Medicare covers part-time or intermittent skilled home health care for people who are homebound, when a doctor orders it and a Medicare-certified home health agency provides it.
- Medicare doesn't pay for 24-hour-a-day care at home, homemaker services unrelated to the care plan, or personal care when that is the only care someone needs.
