1. Who we are

This website is operated by Carevo Pty Ltd (ABN 69 696 950 919), registered in Australia at 6/11 York St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. By using the site you accept these terms.

2. What Carevo is

Carevo is an information and connection service. We publish guidance on how care is paid for in the United States and a directory of care providers derived from public data.

We are not a care provider. We do not deliver care, employ caregivers, place residents in facilities, or supervise any provider listed on this site.

We are not an adviser. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or medical advice. Our calculators produce estimates from published rules and do not decide anything. Carevo is not a law firm, a licensed insurance agent, a benefits consultant or a healthcare provider.

This site is not for emergencies. If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911.

3. Information is general

Content is general information for the United States unless stated otherwise. Medicare, Medicaid, VA and Social Security rules and amounts change, usually each year, and Medicaid and many other programs differ by state. We take care to keep figures current and cite their source, but you must check your own position with the agency that decides it, such as Medicare, your state Medicaid agency, the VA or the Social Security Administration, or with a qualified adviser, before acting.

Carevo does not decide eligibility for Medicare coverage, Medicaid, VA benefits or any other program. The agency responsible for that program makes the decision.

4. Provider listings

Listings are derived from data published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider Data Catalog and the CMS National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) NPI Registry, which are US government work, public domain. Inclusion is not a recommendation, endorsement or vetting by Carevo. CMS rates providers and states license them. We report what they publish.

A provider can change after its data is published, and our copy of the data is refreshed periodically. A provider with no CMS rating has not been judged poor. It has not been rated. Always check the current CMS and state records and read the inspection reports before making a decision.

Any contract for care is between you and the provider. We are not party to it and are not responsible for the care delivered.

5. Enquiries

If you submit an enquiry, you agree to us passing your details to matched providers listed on Carevo so they can respond. We do not control whether or how a provider responds, and we do not guarantee that any provider has capacity or accepts your payment type. Our privacy notice explains what happens to your details.

6. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape or bulk-extract the site, republish substantial parts of it, misrepresent your identity, or use it in a way that damages it or interferes with others' use.

The underlying CMS and NPI Registry data is public and available directly from the source. Please take it from the source rather than from us.

7. Intellectual property

Our written content, design and code belong to us. CMS, NPI Registry and Census data are US government works and are in the public domain. Content sourced from other government sites remains theirs where they say so.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that the information is complete or current, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on it, from the acts or omissions of any care provider, or from any interruption to the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or removes any protection you have under the consumer protection law of your state.

9. Links

We link to external sites, including Medicare.gov, Medicaid.gov, the VA and state agencies, for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

11. Governing law

While the site is operated by Carevo Pty Ltd, these terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing here removes any protection you have under the consumer law of the state where you live.
